spent about an hour or so editing a rough approximation of an 80s game show theme from episodes of said show, of which there is no version available in the clear (yet).

it's not perfect but I'm glad I did it

@TonicBH the thing that settles me the most about how much of a labour of love it is is that the head developer from lizardcube is the guy who made the MEKA master system emulator in 1999

finished Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (remake). Never played the original but heard great things about this.

I really like the labor of love put into the new art, the new arrangements, even making sure elements of the original are still available at any time is a nice treat.

Worth playing.

We have a two hour emergency room wait ahead of us (on top of about 4 hours between two hospitals already and no good news so far), can we please get some news about bad things happening to billionaires or their ilk to keep morale up please? Thanks

cool games I've been playing lately:

- Tetris Effect: Connected
- Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (remake)

these are pretty fun

Please make backup copies of your PC, folks, if you aren't already. Don't forget to test your backups. Don't forget to write down your PC recovery & backup restoring procedure. And don't forget to save that procedure somewhere you can get to if all your data gets wiped out.

no single-click engagement mechanic will ever compare to a person taking time out of their day to put into words how your work has affected them

headline chasers was a rather middling trivia/puzzle show, but it had a theme song that was goddamn amazing.

Like damn, you didn't have to go so hard on a game show theme like this

dang, how do people get good at stuff like trivia game shows, because half the time I feel like a complete idiot when I play along

been watching American Gladiators lately and I'm amazed at the crew they have on stage, some with parabolic microphones and helmet cams to get those specific angles

...dang, audio and video production on TV shows are so cool

I want a camera:
- Connecting to a computer to live stream
- With wide angle lens
- Good macro/close up auto focus
- With tripod screw mount
- Cheaper than 100 GBP

I wanted it to also be wireless but after wasting money on a GoPro which would fit the bill if it weren't for the fact you need a fucking subscription to stream with it, I can't find anything else like that, so I'll take wired if it must be.

Please send me recommendations or boost this post.

Recent VHS discoveries:

- Local news covering Who Wants to be a Millionaire

- An episode of webRIOT, a MTV game show nobody really remembers

- Episodes of The Jamie Foxx Show and The Chimp Channel, which have tangential game show content

now we're getting to the good stuff!!

man I totally forgot how many banger themes Alan Thicke made for game shows
