Thankfully, some organisations and countries have realised the fossil fuels path is shit and have started on the other trees. Unfortunately, the government of my country (the US) has decided to go all in on the fossil fuels path. Ugh.

If humanity had a tech tree, we'd be doing *shit* on the electricity generation part of it. Like, we unlocked some basic upgrades to nuclear reactors and some almost decent renewable generators, but we've pretty much decided "Fuck it" and put most of our points into completing the fossil fuels path, despite the fact they have rapidly become the *worst* part of the tree. Sure, they don't require many upgrade points and are decent early on. BUT THE OTHER PATHS GET SO MUCH BETTER!

Gender is actually a spectrum in H⁴, but we, being humans used to E³ and being completely unable to imagine 4D hyperbolic space, have simplified it down to, at worst, a binary and, at best, a spectrum in R² with some options off the plane. Not even all of R² either. Just the positives.

Turns out, setting the `POSIXLY_CORRECT` environment variable causes things to break, meaning that the GNU Project is doing things so far from standards, I literally *have* to use their fucking software on my Arch system, whether I like it or not.

Don't get me wrong, there are some left-leaning trends in the Democratic Party, thanks to the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortezes and Bernie Sanderses of the party, but, for the most part, fuck 'em.
