(reply thread) Heavy aphobia, sex, personal experiance with this. FB

@danishcookies

It's so much easier for aphobia to thrive online because it's all derived from butchered theory. The microsecond it enters an in-person space, it's either snuffed out or the space collapses at best into infamous toxicity, at worst literally just imploding and existing no more.

It's also fundamentally a capitalist phenomenon, coming from other social media, so its presence here is worrying...

Let's bring aspec culture and language back! Aphobes have been disgusting gatekeepers of the queer community and took away the pride and joy of aspec comrades. Reply with some of the terms you like to use as an aspec or retoot so others can add in!

gender shitpost, bad ableist words

you, an idiot:
gender can be confusing and it takes a lot of time to figu-

me, master of gender:
I'm fluent in half a dozen genders and currently learning three more JUST FOR MY OWN ENTERTAINMENT. YOU MORon. you fucking imbecile

not all trans girls are coders. if you aren't a programmer, you are Valid

there's an intersection between privilege and how much someone trusts in authority

basically, it’s like this. the more privilege you have, the less likely you are to have ever been at the wrong end of militarized police forces, unfortunate socioeconomic outcomes, and general institutional oppression

the ability to blindly assume good faith in all circumstances is not something that everyone gets to have. please understand this in your conversations with peers that maybe don’t have it as well.

@kittypuffreloaded

Fuck. Yes. What the rest of the world sees as paradoxes and contradictions, we dive into and experience dimensions of emotion and sensation they could never comprehend from within their restrictive bubble.

Especially when my autism joins the party. Stims, asexuality and sex are a fucking delightful combo let me tell you 😍

Where there's a hypervisible, there's always an invisible 😔 it's such devastating violence

(reply thread) Aphobia, sex, personal experiance with this. FB

@DragonessDella

Thank you too, this sort of solidarity is vital ❤ especially when we're this actively invisiblised

(reply thread) Aphobia, sex, personal experiance with this. FB, selfie, ec

@DragonessDella

It really is just lateral violence. Queer communities came up with aspec vocabulary and it's disproportionately internet queers who identify as aspec, because the vocabulary hasn't come close to mainstreaming yet.

And thank you 😊 I'm no longer that pink, because the bleach was damaging my hair. Now I'm this:

@DragonessDella

The amount of people I've had call me a cishet for this. And friendly reminder, I looked like this when I came out as aspec:

Aphobia, sex, personal experiance with this. FB

@DragonessDella

We're treated like such fucking garbage online... on FB I've gotten so much shit for even tentatively discussing this stuff. The reaching and bizarre conspiratorial ideas people have about us are so depressing...

Aphobia, sex

Something we don't talk about enough: the desexualisation of aspec people.

The mere fact that this sentence sounds like an absurdity to so many is proof of how pervasive it is.

Many aspec people fuck. Many aspec people have active, healthy sex lives.

Our sex is completely different to allosexual sex, but it is still sex.

The assumption that aspec people never have sex- and that if we do it's trauma/internalised oppression- is deeply insulting and harmful.

i think we should abolish the concept of being heterosexual/homosexual/whatever and just go by what you're attracted to without any sort of relation to what your own gender is

Fun fact, millionaires CAN'T live with themselves, that's why they own, like, WAY too many houses!

@evie it was you! you were the gay all along, you just had to believe in yourself.

@evie @noelle i cant wait to find out that I’m being played by scarlet Johansson
