Of course there's a huge spectrum, but I read this toot as a plea to the (presumable significant) group of privileged people who feel definitely cis and would not mind stating their pronoun, yet are not aware of the benefit this may have for fellow mastodonians.

Endlich #BattleAngelAlita - Last Order durchgelesen neben der original Serie immernoch einer der großartigsten Manga die ich je gelesen habe.
Und bin immer wieder erstaunt das Manga und Comics mehr mein ethisches denken (positiv) beeinflusst haben als Religion...
Den Film werde ich mir dennoch nicht angucken... verdammte Grütze...

I didn’t bring peanuts today, much to the disappointment of a crow who recognized me at the park where I make a bus connection. It seemed to be cycling through calls to try to figure out which one would get me to feed it this time. I’m sorry, little crow! I can’t give you food I don’t have with me.
It seemed to try to imitate me - poorly, but in tone and cadence despite being “caw caw caw” - when I spoke to it. I tried to imitate it similarly poorly, which it seemed confused but interested by.

I recently sent her some lines – doesn't have to be anything for posteriority, every note of support helps.
Postcards aren't allowed, the letters have to be handwritten on white paper.

Join me on Friday when my friend and colleague Elke will finally release her new comic “Love Migration”.
Short, autobiographical episodes follow Elke falling in love with Russian queer activist Masha in St. Petersburg and their subsequent decision to live together in Berlin.
Elke will be presenting at this year’s International Womens’ Day celebrations of Quarteera, a Berlin-based Russian-speaking LGBTQ* organization. So also expect Russian queerfeminist standup comedy, open mike and much more!

i wish other countries would steal the bodies of prominent Brits and Americans to put on display in their museums.
not political leaders, but bodies of people we actually care about. like if Egypt just swiped the bodies of Stan Lee and David Bowie to put on display like "we just want to raise awareness and respect for their beautiful culture! $10 admission!"
