@Arragonder no worries lol. a lot of my distaste has to do with how poorly the vast majority seems to interpret the source material and how the themes and overall message tend to go right over their heads, but i guess youre going to get people like that in every popular fandom- it was like this for p4 as well. that aside im just a generally irritable person unfortunately, lmao

@Arragonder it’s definitely gotten far worse than it used to be. i have happy internet memories as well, but ever since 2014-ish it’s seemed like a steep slope downwards into hell, especially for sites like tumblr.

“oh you like [x]? i bet you would LOVE to hear some unsolicited opinions about [x] from people you dont care about” yeah thanks. anyways im setting everyone on fire in my mind

i swear im not this mean or offputting irl it just so happens so many social media apps are tailored to fuel outrage addiction

i think being mentally ill on the internet was a mistake because its like. wow i have this shitty little rectangle in my pocket and when i use it i get instant access to millions of opinions that i dont care about just in case i needed to get pissed off instantly

i have never before encountered such a group of absolute brain dead individuals with zero critical thinking skills or reading comprehension

god i fucking hate the persona 5 fandom absolutely fucking loathe them i cannot stress this enough

there's a lot of people i spite by continuing to live

i hope everyone dies and goes to hell no matter what

kvetching

it would be neat if i felt like my friends supported me and the things i wanted to do for even a second but im starting to believe that supportive friendships are a myth lol

pandemic, disability

i'm constantly warning everyone i know: do everything possible to avoid getting covid, because it's really possible that it will permanently disable you, which will ruin your life in ways you are not prepared for. and most people are responding like "that seems pretty extreme and pessimistic :-( and kind of inconvenient for me to consider rn". and i'm like, my guys, this literally happened to me from a much milder virus than covid19. i have genuinely had my life ruined by it.

pandemic, disability

everyone i know who already lives with disabling chronic illness is fucking *terrified* of getting covid19 and getting *more* disabled. we already know what it's like. i think, for people who don't have this experience, the risk only exists as an abstract hypothetical. please believe me, You Do Not Want This.
