Doctor Who • Audio Dramas ░ Bernice Summerfield Audiobooks
like, this doesn't feel like a bad book, or a boring book. It feels like a book that I'd love.
And yet I'm not loving it?

The only explanation that I can think of is that the author has put the main characters into lethal peril and then gotten them out again with nary a scrape thrice now, and we're only 2 hours in to the book.
So perhaps I subconciously don't view the perils as being genuine?
But I'm not certain that makes sense - I am concerned for the characters' safety, and I don't know that they're going to survive.

I've been listening to The Gods of the Underworld, and.... I'm really struggling to stay engaged with it.
I'm really not sure why!
The first audio book (The Doomsday Manuscript) was a really enjoyable listen.
This one has lots of the same stuff: interesting villains with mysterious motivations, an archeological site which isn't what it seems, and Lisa Bowerman's performance is as incredible as usual.
But I'm just... bored.

@hummingrain hello!
video games
update: I looked it up and it turns out that the changes are stuff that would only be important to me if I **had** played all the way through the others first.
But, now I've decided: I'm going to be playing through The Witcher 3
video games, asking for advice
I like all the advice so far, but I just remembered an important detail: having a save from the previous games can change details of the story.
So now I'm even more uncertain...

video games, asking for advice
There's a trilogy of games that I've played a bit of, but never finished. I'm thinking of trying to finish one of them again. The developers say that the story is written so that you can start with any of the three.
The first one is good storywise, but the gameplay is really repetitive.
The second one is really polished, but the story is overly complex.
The third one is really good, but is as long as the other two combined.
Which do you think I should start with?

this is the first 51 elements of the Van Eck sequence, converted into letters of the English Alphabet.
(it's the first 51 because the next number in the sequence is 42, and there isn't a 42nd letter of the english alphabet)
