I liked some of the mods in it, so I might come back to it, but it was just difficult to motivate myself to build a nice house when all the grass around it looked so grainy and distracting.

(I think something weird might have happenned, though, because the grass in the savanna looked way too green)

hmm, as I suspected, the sheer.... grossness of 1.12's textures made it really difficult for me to get into the modpack.

@efi I actually figured out a better option: in multimc, you can add or remove mods just by going to Edit Instance → Loader Mods

@efi it's a curseforge modpack, though, so it's just a list of ids in a json file

I think I'm going to try out Paths of Magic 3, but I'm also going to replace JourneyMap with Xaero's Minimap (which I don't actually know how to do, but I guess I'll try?)
