if universities stopped doing that, C would die really really really fast - it's not a useful or valuable language anymore, aside from the fact that people keep being taught it!

Does anyone know of a place where you can log in and just chat with people? Not specific topics, just everyday stuff? But somewhere like mastodon (where people don't ask for nudes but actually just want to talk?).
