so, with that in mind, I'm going OS searching again!

I'm thinking of trying out one of these:

* Gentoo
* openSUSE
* solus

I kinda want to try something that *isn't* linux, but... not enough to make it my primary OS (unless there's a really good reason to)

I've used it for almost two years now - I'll be sad to see it go, but it must.

positive note, though: I can just backup my configuration files, and if the other OS's I try don't work out?

I just need to copy those files back and type `nixos-install` and everything will be EXACTLY how I left it

I can't handle this experimental operating system anymore

when it works - it's truly amazing, an gives me hope for better computing systems in the future

but it breaks so much. There's so many times when I've been like "oh I'll just follow this tutorial" and I can't because nixos gets in the way. So many times where I just want to play a game and I can't because I don't know what all the dependencies are

I love this operating system, I just can't use it anymore
