One thing I like about Australia is it's increasingly multicultural - on this one train carriage I can see people with ancestors in Europe, several different parts of India, China, Korea, the Philippines, South Africa (ish, not sure) and several different parts of the middle east

minecraft modding confession

I've never played long enough to even *start* something like draconic evolution

polygon content hot take

@puppy@chitter.xyz I felt the same about car boys... I got sick of it really fast

I never watched the others

rambly affirmation, +

@squirrel I love you too, squibun bot <3

Rest well!

@puppy@chitter.xyz install grimux

it's a linux distro where something randomly breaks every 5 minutes and you have to play a perfect tetris game while blindfolded to fix it!

@puppy@chitter.xyz *offers gentle pet pets and snugs*

@BatElite *gently pets*

snooze well, bat ♥

@staticsafe@mastodon.zombocloud.com the situation has probably changed, but 6 months ago when I was playing regularly, people were crying the same thing - but I never encountered much of anything

@chosafine@instance.business @witchfynder_finder I've found ONE decent place online, and they've only got a few languages (saysomethingin.com)

the rest of them focus way, way too much on memorising vocab or on learning the writing system, which makes it incredibly difficult to learn the language

@puppy@chitter.xyz the problem is there doesn't seem to be any open source OSes that are focused on the desktop or on the user

housing

ah, this was actually for the entire unit, not just a room

Show thread

@puppy@chitter.xyz this is why I want to make my own OS, that doesn't try to be backwards compatible with linux at all and is ENTIRELY focused on the desktop, ignoring the server/systems people entirely
