@soren nah nah nah, you get like file hashes so you go to [filehash].domain.tld which gets you some metadata and pointers about how big the file is, then you have like [filehash]-[chunkid].domain.tld which has part of the file, which enables you to seek to different points in the file and reduce load and avoid character limits

Food for thought: What if Windows 10 had a prompt at setup to enable you to donate (c|g)pu cycles to something like F@H when idle (or, knowing microsoft, probably enable it by default). What advancements could those projects make? Would you be okay with that? Would you opt out?

you know a computer's good when it needs extra drivers to work on windows and works with no special configuration / non-standard drivers on linux

@maple I mean I would absolutely love to help try and upgrade the fork to latest stable, but I don't reallllly have an environment to test in but I can definitely try!!
