every time i see a bird, something switches off in me and i become a primal mess just sputtering "ooh bird" in baby talk like an uncivilized orangutan of some sort

years after its release, i caught up with a series and have finally read through it in its entirety after i got into it 6 years ago. the last installment was released in 2016 and a new installment (or another remake) has been teased, but... it makes me sad to know that for now, things have to stop here. i rarely binge things and feel upset about things ending where they were, but this series is too close to my heart for that. it's a lil lonely to have to wait for more.

so anyway: i'm surprised about it, but tap water is really great. like, wow, it is SO thirst-quenching, and i really don't see much difference between filtered water and the local tap water

to clarify: at the time i didn't have any humanoid ocs and could not draw humanoids either (i still can't' draw them, but i *HAVE* a few with alternative humanoid forms), so that contributed to the problem a lot. (:c_(

it's cool that the art fight staff is doing a community survey on how WE would rank attacks, but i'm still mad about how last art fight went :< nobody drew my characters unless i drew theirs (my give:receive ratio was ~2:1), and the system hasn't been changed to incentivize actually COMPLETING an art trade rather than just going around and gifting art. either way, i WILL participate next time, but i won't expect anything + will just draw kids' warrior cats ocs

i'm glad that another site i use updated a clunky, slow, and old feature, but now that it forces me to load entirely over https on dynamic pages with the same urls, the scripts that make the actual content viewable won't load. i'm not getting anywhere or doing anything on those pages like i used to be able to. gg, fellas 🙃
