@vahnj i put them in .env.production like the undocumented whispering voices told me to and i ran docker-compose build again to make sure the file was included in the docker black-box and i ran docker-compose up -d to restart it but the container was up-to-date

okay i can't figure this out

ran assets:precompile, rand build again but up -d won't even restart the containers now, just says they're all up to date

so what am i missing to get push notifications working

what did i do wrong

please help me

@lanodan_cf it wasn't a change i wanted to make, i listened to my users on that.

@lanodan_cf i had it standard width and people complained and made me make it wider. on a widescreen monitor it looks fine

@tom yup. i also did the undocumented process of putting the result of that rake task in the .env.production file which is confidential inside trader information that the release notes will never tell anyone about

@noelle i think it's a conspiracy against me and really mastodon doesn't actually have them but everyone keeps talking about them just to make me paranoid and upset

so... i still don't have push notification i guess
