hey folks

did you know

um

that you should hug your fuzzy friends??

@nightpool@cybre.space i don't even know what any of this is

@nightpool@cybre.space i've disabled that option and the problem persists

@nightpool@cybre.space i just configured the forwards in the luci environment i don't know what else i could do

@nightpool@cybre.space tcp 0 0 192.168.1.64:ssh 192.168.1.20:52703 ESTABLISHED
tcp 0 0 192.168.1.64:ssh 192.168.1.20:57622 ESTABLISHED
tcp 0 1 192.168.1.64:ssh 192.168.1.1:25186 FIN_WAIT1

20 is me, 1.1 is an attacker bruteforcing me?

@shekkiesqueaks ok i found the right firmware and updated from wrt 15 to lede 17 but it's still doing it

@varx @nightpool@cybre.space uh huh and how do you proprose i fix it

@nightpool@cybre.space i'm sure because i just sshed into my server from a vps and the vps (obviously not my router or even in my lan, in a country away) is reported as 192.168.1.1

@nightpool@cybre.space http? no this is ssh

i'm getting spammed on 192.168.1.64 about failed ssh root attempts from 192.168.1.1 but those attacks are coming from the internet and not lan and i don't know what ips are doing it
