i still don't really know the difference between c and c++

job stuff, advice wanted

@LANthus maybe, but with recruitment companies I'm just worried about it blowing up on my face

job stuff, advice wanted

@LANthus i super need a life shift

job, bleh

i wish i could make more of an effort to get a job out of here and finally move away from this country but i don't know what to do about it and i don't think i'm qualified to do anything that pays

job stuff, advice wanted

@LANthus yes but vanhack is a recruiter company and their whole shtick is getting people here to work there

job stuff, advice wanted

@banjofox@dev.glitch.social i'm just wary cause recruiter companies are super suspicious

job stuff, advice wanted

@tinybarks@meows.life thanks

this basically confirms everything i figured, yeah

job stuff, advice wanted

@deem@dev.glitch.social sure

job stuff, advice wanted

there's someone from a company called vanhack who's been trying to recruit me sending emails to my college address and at first i thought they were just boilerplate standard emails but they're asking me to follow up on it and i don't know what to do ??

they're offering programmer jobs in canada and i'm worried that either there's a huge catch (i have to pay to work there, basically) or that i'm not qualified enough for their positions
