trying to post to mastodon over wi-fi just doesn't return anything at all no matter what, and the uni wifi doesn't try to block social media or anything, so what the Hecks?

uni wifi feels fucky today

discord works fine, loading mastodon works fine, but posting never returns

I don't really either, I only know where the RGB lines in a console are and how to pull them out to display it on a monitor

oh, and as for the motherboard, i received a reply on the return ticket for it and i'll ship it for RMA tomorrow. it'll probably still be a week or more until it gets back, so squirrel-chan's fuck-up hour is on hiatus until i get my desktop running again, which sucks and I really hate it but there's no feasible way I can stream out of this laptop (plus I don't have the OBS scene setups here)
