@dumpling@octodon.social I'd love to make the doors bigger but then all the neighbourhood cats get in there first and eat all the food before the hedgies can get a look in

@dumpling@octodon.social oh yeah, managed to get in there fine, got a good photo from yesterday of it in the smaller one looking out

@tom yep!

we wanted somewhere to put out food for them where it wouldn't be rained on so I built them a cafe

it was so popular there were queues of hedgehogs out the door so I built the addition you can see on the right

GERT BIG HEDGIE FRIEND!

For reference, the doors to the hedgehog cafe are about 10*10cm, this 'un must be at least 20cm long and 10cm wide

@maple does good arts

give maple money and it'll make good arts for you!

good arts like these:

@maple while maple eyes can be set to display any pride flag desired it's a bit like putting a little sign saying "this is a plane" on a C-5 Galaxy

looking around for how to make a decent beeswax polish and all these sites are popping up with "only use xyz because it's organic and natural and this other thing obviously can't be effective because it's not blessed by a magical tree fairy..."

I DON'T CARE IF IT'S ORGANIC, I JUST WANT SOME STUFF FOR POLISHING ME WOOD!

...

STOP SNICKERING AT THE BACK!

@maple or just a notepad really, I keep forgetting those things exist, but the basic "here's a list of things that need doing when I can get around to getting off me arse" concept works for me

@maple I've got it on my phone inside termux which seems to work pretty well for me and it'll also run in the linux subsystem for windows thingy

I think todoist might be a decent equivalent?

@maple I use stuff like taskwarrior, just put all the things I have to do in it and crank them out one by one when spoons allow, don't know if something like that might be any use?

@maple I still have no idea how they managed to make a stand for a monitor cost a grand

couple hundred bucks for the shiny spinny one and a vesa adaptor in the box with the monitor I can see, but a grand for a chunk of metal and a bearing seems ridiculous

@kotep alternatively keyboards with really big buttons that look like giant drum kits

with really strong springs so smol creatures could also use it by bouncing on it like a trampoline

@maple namecheap have been okay for me, think they take .in domains

haven't had any experience of their transfer process or customer support though, haven't needed any of that
