@mavica I usually go for all
"oh, do you know heshethemzezey...?"
@mavica "sony mavica cats" sounds like a saturday morning cartoon and I want to watch it
@mavica you're mavica!
and you're a robot squirrel bunny!
@ElfLord perfectly understandable
and I'da speak proper I'da
@ElfLord 8 hours?! We were only told to beat the shit out of their chest to the beat of another one bites the dust
@InspectorCaracal no flag, no country
those are the rules that I just made up
@InspectorCaracal they didn't have flags at the time
mortality shitpost
@envgen well, your music is pretty good so there is club membership to take into consideration
expensive watches
@saxnot that's a fair assessment, especially when you get to such exalted circles of horology
I'm firmly in the shallow end of the pool of this particular hobby with much lower prices but I still like the expensive stuff even if I'll never own one
@mavica you'll like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ffgWvdZyvk
the little *flump* to get on the charging station!
@revolverocelot @mavica my favourite robot too!
@mavica weebo is shaped like a friend
pebble
@saxnot yeah, I mean, if you look at this, it's beautiful, it's the movement from an A. Lange & Soehne Datograph and it's a work of art
and it costs about as much as a house
and a Casio F91-W that's available for $10 will do everything that this does and do it more accurately
pebble
@saxnot I'm a massive nerd when it comes to watches and I have a particular appreciation for mechanical ones as opposed to quartz or computerised ones like the pebble
Joking aside, the Piaget Altiplano is a fantastic piece of technical mastery, it's really really hard to manufacture a mechanical watch that's so thin so props to them
but to call anything like that "affordable" is just ridiculous
watch media
@saxnot even thinner than a Piaget Altiplano, it must be worth tens of thousands!
Hedgehog wrangler, cat feeder, octopus whomst love smol critters
