@Jo does do exactly what it claims to do though, got to give them points for that

Bond

Rami Malek's character: Don't stop me now, Mr. Bond, I'm having such a good time

spoilers

@douglasfur @Jo yep, spoiled by the trailer no less

"last year I needed a heart transplant" while "last christmas" is playing is sort of a giveaway

@TheGibson only posh british accents

you walk in saying anything in bristle and they start fact checking you

@softgoat I'd think fox, I generally associate them with sort of "eeeeeee" noises

"I'm obsessed with an 1990 Lucasfilm Games point and click adventure"

OK Loomer

@mavica oh, no, it's a replacement for grooveshark apparently

I don't know what a grooveshark is but I'm pretty sure it's music related

@yojimbo what a coincidence, a tapestry and cloth weaver was complaining about something to me recently

OK LOOMER

@mavica I vaguely recall something called funkwhale being something close to an activitypub replacement for soundcloud or something

@mavica yeah, cheaper versions are available and probably help just as much, those just happen to be the ones I got as a birthday present at some point

deffo go for the silicone reusable type though, the foam disposable ones never fit well and always sound mushy

@mavica I take earplugs with me everywhere now, they do some designed for mostly filtering out noise other than speech

think I'm using some senner ones at the moment, come in a little capsule that goes on a keychain, really helpful

@mavica oof, yeah, I have that too

also occasionally it feels like some bastard's turned up the volume on everything and I can barely hear myself think
