@mavica *wiggles 'em all about*
@evie I'm pretty sure paying 50 bucks for a small copper pipe for the purpose of looking like gandalf while drinking coffee is never a financially responsible decision
says the octopus who spends *cough cough*far too high amount on watches
@evie in terms of financial responsibility, no
in terms of memes, yes

Have I talked about these yet?
The Nivada Grenchen Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver
Nivada was hit hard by the quartz crisis but it's being brought back by a few industry pros, this is one of two lines they're starting with
38.3mm case size, available with manual-wind or automatic movements, 100m water resistance, super useful count-up and 12-hour bezel
Just a good vintage-sized tool watch, and fairly reasonably priced for a mechanical chrono
@mavica have you had food? a nice cup of tea?
For the last few weeks @Crash has been working on a quickplay RPG called Kobolds In Space!.
I've put together and have been tinkering with a Python script that automatically generates a ship, plot, and adversary for a Kobolds In Space! game, along with a bunch of pre-generated kobolds for players to play.
(The very quick rules: you add two stats depending on what you're doing, and roll 2d6 against the total. Roll lower, you succeed; higher, you fail; get it exactly, you're somewhat successful.)
Reload the page to get a new campaign with new kobolds: http://node.noelle.codes/kobold
@mavica agreed
