As a measure of how Strong and Stable™️ the UK government is, after GQ released their Jan/Feb cover with "Election Special" written on it we're all sitting here wondering if they mean the local government elections or if they know something we don't

UK politics

@cassolotl@cybre.space local government elections maybe?

Although Morgan Stanley are predicting a 2018 general election so they might know something we don't

Apparently the UK Foreign Office is now telling governments to ignore whatever the Foreign Minister says because he's an idiot

chosa bread take

@chosafine@instance.business If you still think tortillas are better, it wasn't truly good bread

Get yourself some rye bread if you need something substantial, some boule if you like crust, brioche for something sweet, sourdough is always lovely, a big slab of white bloomer with a ploughman's, ciabatta for paninis

Fuck I love bread

my take as a white person on a troubling trend in American films that feaure Mexican characters and/or Mexican culture

@grime_witch state of the world as it is I'm taking anything not being as bad as it possibly could be as a win

But yeah, Hollywood has some work to do on the representation of Mexican people

my take as a white person on a troubling trend in American films that feaure Mexican characters and/or Mexican culture

@grime_witch suppose it could be worse, they could all be about Cinco de Mayo
