Hot take, Gab, Nazis

@Jo if there are 9 people sat at a dinner table having a genial conversation with 1 nazi then what you've got there is 10 nazis

@Shrigglepuss you should get a watch

I can give you suggestions for which watch to get

lazy web, tech

@c0debabe ubiquiti unifi gear could work for you then, rather than an all-in-one device they sell separate routers, switches, and wifi access points

So for a full setup you'd need to get a USG for the router bit, any switch you like (I'd suggest just an 8-port Netgear dumb switch), and as many UAPs as you'd like to cover your house for the WiFi portion

would 100% be overkill for a home set-up, but that's why I like the stuff

lazy web, tech, not a reply to the question

@noelle @maple @c0debabe I'd have answered that some people remember when wifi used to be absolutely shite and just generally not work that well and they haven't checked how it is for ages but that answer also works

lazy web, tech

@c0debabe what's your tolerance for technical faffery?

'cause prosumer stuff like ubiquiti and mikrotik is good but requires some setup

@Gargron crap, what have you agreed to that we need to yell at you for now?

watching the latest basics with babish video and they're measuring water in grams like absolute monsters

the frozen peaches circlejerk is powered by a wanker rotary engine

toot! app discourse

an app developer deciding not to support a certain server is not censorship you ridiculous wankmuffins

I judge everything by the four core criteria style, control, damage, and aggression

@Felthry @packbat I've been informed that graham crackers are the closest US equivalent but I've never had one of those

@Cobalt ah, september-like influx of new people who don't know the etiquette yet brought in by someone internet famous, got it

I'm probably going to regret asking this but what's a "jovan"?

wearing a clock around your neck like flava flav but it's actually a rack mount atomic clock

I don't have the neck strength for that but it would be a look

I should get a decent cribbage set

When I was younger (much younger) I always used to see a couple of guys playing cribbage up the pub, don't see that any more

We should make cribbage a thing again

@maple @softgoat the film night might be a "build it and they will come" thing, don't know, I'm still totally up for it

@softgoat @maple computerfairi.es board games night!

to be scheduled before or after the furry corner film night!

@noelle tactical brooching, a team of big burly people with body armour and weapons making little ornamental badges
