@maple I stumbled across this thing which might possibly be some small amount of help

amiga.robsmithdev.co.uk/instru

uses an arduino to act as a controller

@Shrigglepuss @seb_ly that's a tough one, cousinsuk.com/ might have something suitable, easiest thing to do would probably be replacing the strap entirely though

@maple you're a robot girl
in a robot wooorld
life in silicon
is I don't have a rhyme for silicon

@maple *clicks furiously after making a cosy directory structure*

@SuricrasiaOnline I was around and got one!

it's living on my network switch for them extra bytes of connectivity

@Anke analogue watch on one side, apple watch on the other

they were worried everyone was going to buy an apple watch and not wear their stuff so they came up a way to wear both

@coda two shortened strap halves on each watch, buckled together so you can have a proper watch on one side of your wrist and an apple watch on the other side

their idea was that you could wear both their product and the apple watch the entire watch industry was in a minor panic about at the same time

It's probably going to sell a lot better than their last foray into novel strap systems which is this ridiculous thing they must have put together in a panic when they heard the sales figures from the apple iwatch or whatever

Ooh, this is neat, new thing from Sinn, the DuoFlex diving strap system

Has tool-less quick change for straps of different colours/lengths and quick microadjust for the length

Here's the product info sheet for it: sinn.de/en/Download/Bedienungs
