"We want a 100kt atomic bomb"

"What!? I don't sell weapons!"

"Your ad says you're a nuclear arms dealer!"

*waves around an RTG-powered limb prosthetic*

"I AM! JUST NOT THAT KIND!"

@Siphonay@octodon.social I very much agree with you putting arms above legs

arms are great

LB: songs about all the stuff you can do with ikea tables

@sydneyfalk trackball > mouse > trackpoint > some weird keyboard key implementation of mouse movements > trackpad

@TheGibson tried it meself with an ergodox, you get used to it quicker than you think

DIRTY DEEDS

@cambridgeport90@mastodon.technology well, AC/DC are doing them dirt cheap but I'd do it with an extra bit of customer service

@tcql@octodon.social I'm gonna be that bastard

Not horror, but same effect

DIRTY DEEDS

done for surprisingly reasonable prices

@penguin42 maybe give them a little leeway but basic fact checking should be in place

like with Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson's bus, "£350 million a week goes to the EU", no it quite clearly doesn't

(seriously, any time they're out there you can hear them yelling about Thoreau in hedgehog)

(in reality the People's Republic of Hedgehogistan is actually closer to an anarcho-primitivist collective what with their larking around foraging for food and not being concerned with the whole "civilisation" bollocks and therefore doesn't have ministers and stuff, but facebook doesn't need to know that bit)

Show thread

Due to the recent decision by Facebook to allow outright lies in adverts so long as the person behind them is a politician I am appointing everyone here who wants it as ministers without portfolio for the People's Republic of Hedgehogistan, a completely real country that I in no way just made up

re: uspol, facebook

@garbados I wonder where the bar is for considering someone a "politician"

like, can I run for town mayor of bumfuckville and get free reign to lie in facebook ads?

@Heannan hey, welcome!

you can find all our rules here: computerfairi.es/about/more

if you'd like a guide on how to get around @noelle wrote a super good one that can be found here: github.com/joyeusenoelle/Guide

and if you'd like to ask questions then I'm around, I'm one of the mods here

Due to running linux I'll never get pwned on a public unsecured wifi network

Mostly 'cause I can't figure out how to get the wifi driver working
