I'd say an exhaust somewhere would be the better idea, pulling air out of the case would help the other fan pulling it in

@mavica I was thinking that the air going over other components might warm it a bit and make it slightly less efficient at cooling the hot parts

don't know if that would be enough to make any difference or not

@mavica 'course, every possibility I'm completely wrong and it'll end up slagging your CPU that way, i r not smert in the ways of temperature control

@mavica I have a feeling the proper answer will be an It Depends™️ but I'd be inclined to go for intake into hot, exhaust out the back

that way you've got the bulk of the useful cooling air stuff going to cool the hot bits, and the now warm and not particularly useful air being shunted out the way for more cooler stuff

@mavica ah! according to their twitter they've been sending out so many passkeys a bunch of e-mail servers think they're spamming and they've got a backlog going

@mavica as far as issues with a distributed computing project go this is one of them good problems

@mavica yeah, current problem as far as I'm aware, so many people joining right now they're running out of units to send out

@mavica I think their infrastructure is getting hammered at the moment with lots of new people signing up
