@blackle@dev.glitch.social vorecore specifically about eating doors, or doorvorecore

@Elizafox I was expecting anything other than naked pictures

It's like when anyone posts an image claiming to be "their ass" I always assume it's a picture of a donkey

@ajroach42 I'd probably put that more in the wrist-mounted gadget category than a watch but that's cool as hell

@ajroach42 digital watches are still good, casio actually still makes a bunch of their more retro designs, might be worth looking at those

@ajroach42 Oh yeah, the SNK809 has a clear caseback so you can see the movement from the back, that'll get you hooked if nothing else will seeing all those little gears moving around

@ajroach42 That's how it starts

I mostly buy new because vintage is a minefield

If you're after a mechanical watch then Seiko is a good start, the Seiko SNK809 is pretty much everyone's first automatic, they're great value and you can find them for £70-80

Or if you want a dive watch there's the SKX007 which is about 200 quid, fully rated for diving, and in my opinion looks pretty damn nice

@kimmie@mastodon.social @SarcasmKid Of course it's a hoax

It's actually "intelligent falling" where the Flying Spaghetti Monster uses his noodly appendages to push everything down back towards the earth

ANNOUNCEMENT

Marmite is fucking awesome on crumpets

That is all

@Efi yeah, of course

Not sure it'd do much for the noise but you can put it on there anyway

@kimmie@mastodon.social I remember seeing it and thinking "Oh, magic internet money, like that'll be a thing, stupid bloody idea"

Next thing I hear about it several years later "Bitcoin hits several thousand pounds per"

@kimmie@mastodon.social Hope it works out for you

I'm still mildly kicking myself for not buying in to bitcoin when it was still a dollar or less per coin thingy

@blackle@dev.glitch.social "would you fuck a dragon" t-shirts are perfectly fine office attire!

@kimmie@mastodon.social Honestly, I'm still not sure what ethereum's actually for

People keep saying "SMART CONTRACTS" and "DAO" and I have no idea what they're on about
