shitpost, injury

@MrJimmy The way I pop my neck looks like I'm trying to break it.

I put one of my palms under my chin and twist my head to the side.

@KitRedgrave@cybre.space honestly, while I think that they were very formative experiences, and I'd be a different person without them, different isn't bad.

I think we all have the opportunity to find or own experiences. My life has been changed by such small things as deciding to go to a queer youth group meeting, or decoding to go on a particular website at a particular time.

It's really entirely a matter of opening yourself up to those opportunities.

Lewd

@KitRedgrave@cybre.space I ended up going to queer orgies as a (late) teenager growing up in Las Vegas. They ended up shaping a lot of how I interact with people, and how I form and maintain relationships.

@jdlwerewolf@snouts.online I was almost a local popufur once.

Politics, Cheeto 45

I bet Trump is going to reject the budget because he's a massive pissbaby.

Refer to this in 4 days when shutdown 2018+1.5 (going by kingdom hearts numbering system) begins and airport stokes across the country ensue.

Alternatively, he touts the budget as a "massive win" ☝️

me, eye contact

@MrJimmy You hunting for ghosts or something?

Side note: autocorrect entered "biologists" instead of "ghosts" and I think that's a much more entertaining mental picture.

pol, racism

White people shut the fuck up about POC experience challenge. JUST FUCKING SHUT UP!

@sonicthehedgehog I issued the duel, yes. It is currently in progress. You must first find me.

@er1n when I can, I go out with some other local radicals and feed homeless people. I'm not saying this as a brag, but as background to this:

We're all human, even the poorest among us. We all have the ability to change the course of someone's day, maybe even their life. A conversation won't hurt, and it might mean the world to someone else.

i made the day of a very shabby man on the bus by being the only person to actually talk to him instead of ignoring him. a long time ago, he played viola; he knew a lot about music theory and classical music, and clearly deeply cared about it. we talked for the entire ride. it was the strangest and most unexpected thing i've done recently. i was nowhere near comfortable talking to a random person – it's far outside my typical comfort zone – but he needed to talk, and i was glad to listen.

this one is from him. may he find peace somewhere.

@sonicthehedgehog NetSec best practices demand that I never divulge my location. Good luck finding me.

Do you want to hear the song your heart sings when you fall asleep?

I highly recommend Weightless by Marconi Union.

@burgin The cover of Infinite Jest and the way it's laying make it look like it's photoshopped. And also the lighting on The Power Broker.
