@ScottSoCal my thinking is defined by "leaps in logic"! I've always collected knowledge, all different kinds of facts about how things work, bits and pieces from every field and while I can't remember when this has lead to me solving a problem, I have a bad memory I just know it's happened in the past, the most recent "leap" I can recall is thinking about light sabers and "accidentally" working out why the basic/neutral guard for a two handed blade is what it is from like a physics perspective.

I keep forgetting to post/interact here because stupid ADHD T_T
that complaint is relevant right now cause I was watching a youtube video 8bitmod's gamecube memory card built with the esp32 chip and I have no one to talk to about how that platform and its inclusion of wireless capabilities has been a revolution for embedded tech, console modding, and many hacker projects since the chip was rolled out.

@mavica_again it's only a hazard if you do what the phrase says but you're accidentally in a no poultry zone. otherwise most people won't be too upset by a surprise rooster for a bit.

@lbrianwrites it's the gays! we know how to look into someone's soul and speak directly to it! it's why satan hired us to corrupt people lol!

@goroakechi my friend whose been a persona fan for only slightly less time than me and way more active in the fandom compared to my hearing about the fandom second hand mostly, also lamented the death of the persona fandom with five's rise to mainstream darling so you're def not alone.
To harp on a pet opinion of mine, democratization without education has been ruining things since AOL caused the endless summer of the UseNet days.

Is there any way to make the Public timeline at all useable? a 100 word post scrolls off before I can finish it cause a million bots post their trash in that time.

@vinlind I've only ever dipped my toe into reverse engineering games, cause it takes more than the five minutes my brain allots to any one task uwu. however the five minutes I was given for this task let me use my knowledge to dig up this site that seems legit, at least the random sampling of articles I read and the intro to their intro to reverse engineering passed muster.

Used to watch some youtubers too I'll let you know if I recall them.

@goroakechi Don't mean to spam your timeline, but why do you hate the P5 fandom? I mean I hate them for acting like they know everything about a franchise they just showed up for and trying to gatekeep me or tell me that SMT is just a bad persona ripoff, aka being idiots. it seems anything I like going mainstream is quickly ruined by people like these. I won't make a final judgement until P6 though.

@goroakechi Counterpoint, I was mentally ill on the internet in the early to mid 2000s and those are my only happy childhood/teenage memories. Modern mainstream internet is totally focused on getting clicks and money over doing anything useful though yeah, and that hits us way harder too cause the modern internet also doesn't give a shit about us or our needs. the old net wasn't necessarily designed to help us but the design ethos of the FOSS hippies was definitely more into accessibility.

Keep forgetting to check hear and set up my profile! so let's bang out an introduction before I forget again!
Hello, I'm Arragonder. I haven't decided if I'll use my real name eventually. Love computers and video games and technology and writing and music, and all of these things interacting in interesting ways.
Didn't get diagnosed with my ADHD or Autism, and the resulting anxiety and depression until I was in my 20s.
Only started learning about autism this week

@WhyNotZoidberg i hear good things about potionomics and have also been playing dome keeper which is not getting enough attention imo but is also hard to explain since it's like similar to steam world dig type resource gathering but also a survival roguelite

@WhyNotZoidberg ive been enjoying "this way madness lies" the newest game from zeboyd about a magical girl highschool drama club going into old plays to fix weird events. It starts with going into romeo and juliet being invaded by plant monsters

@WhyNotZoidberg ah i see the writing took a turn from bad to problematic. Yeah at that point i'd be SoL i guess. Being stuck in a financial situation where i only buy games at massive discount or acquire them without paying though means for me it's less of an annoyance than for someone that bought a new 70$(!) game and then got shafted. That would definitely piss me off way more.

@WhyNotZoidberg for those games i cant completely ignore the story so it's more a matter of how much it grates on me. If it's. Ot too bad it becomes a podcast game, if it's too much i drop it ansld can hopefully get my money back

@WhyNotZoidberg I guess i dont understand what a story based rpg is compared to an rpg with a story. I was thinking final fantasy 13 style cutscenes full of nomsense intercut with combat people seem to like (i vastly prefer lightning returns that game is rad) but i get the feeling you're talking about the new god of war and other rpgs like it where the story is unskipable because large chunks of it are diagetic. (I classify those as action adventure games) those are harder

@WhyNotZoidberg I mash the skip button and play the fun game. granted I don't have to review games so I don't really have issues with doing that. now if the story is unskipable that gets harder cause the game might be fun but with ADHD my ability to slog through large stretches of stuff that actively turns me off is low even if I'm trying to

@goroakechi well I'm not trans so if I can't be cis then *gets out greek dictionary*...Old Church Slavonic you say? I'm slavic! I'll be si gendered!
