I'm thinking about this banger of a post by @mavica_again. I strongly encourage you to read it. We're all trying to make connections in this world. It's amazing what kind of impact a three-word comment ("I like this") or an enthusiastic email can have on someone who's making things for the world to see and use https://maple.pet/blog/on-social-media

Playing Star Wars: Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2 has me thinking about something.
Star Wars is one of those big media franchises (like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Trek, Doctor Who, etc) that I never really got into, despite several attempts to try to.
I like it, but I don't love it with fervor like others do. Everybody will talk a lot about that franchise, while I have no major interest. Thus I feel like an outcast.
I don't know if that's a shared sentiment, or I'm just weird
Thanks to @arielmt, Today I learned that Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing was on the Commodore 64

on socialization, social media and emotional maturity, or: how i learned to stop worrying and become the change i wanted to see in the world
