@catoutofbed@octodon.social yeah, I had to mute a few people because they would constantly complain about meta stuff.... that I never saw, and would have never been stressed out about if they hadn't started to talk about it.
I view the federated timeline as "what if twitter showed you literally everyone's posts"
which.... to me just sounds like a horrible idea

@scarlett that reminds me of how I used to use tumblr - I didn't have an account, but I had around 10 tabs open on people's blogs, and every day I'd refresh the page, read all their posts, and then go on with the rest of the day
