political system musing

@KitRedgrave@glitch.social yeah, we'll still need some kind of way of mediating problems that come up

scene: a gene therapy clinic in the distant future. i am consulting a doctor.
doctor: ah yes welcome to the future: of medicine! how can we help you
me: i need you to resequence my dna so i will stop saying "oop!" in a tiny voice every time i accidentally get in someone's way
doctor: that..... that isn't what we do here. that's a learned behavior
me: well what's the fucking POINT then

masto UX question, polyam

@unascribed yeah, and it makes it frustrating for the task I use them for which is "see the posts my partners made since I went to sleep", because I can't just scroll down until I see my icon, I have to figure out which posts I have seen and which I haven't

masto UX question

can you add yourself to a list?

medicine mention, silly

a painkiller for below the ankles only: parafeetamol

Classic Doctor Who :: [Season 5 → The Enemy of the World]

holy gosh that was actually really good.

But....??? I don't know why they thought that???
