PDA, crude drawing

So Janet is an amazing wonderful person that I love~ If there's any justice in this world she'll (figuratively) drown in happiness and love..

While being silly on a beach-like pretend weird place @chao@chitter.xyz climbed into a rather large shell. A bunch of affection happened while she was in there afterward but that's pretty much usual for us. :P

Here's Hermit Janet (Or HermiJanet, or Janet Crab) being an adorable dork and trying not to get sunburnt. :3

Version Control Systems, Art, Question, Fossil SCM

Has anyone had any experience using Fossil to manage versions of art sources & textures? Or really any binary/not-source-code-format? (And images, mostly png).

I want to have a real source control system for my art, beyond my hard-to-maintain-and-document naming scheme, but the vast majority of documentation and info about version control software is more focused on programmers than artists.

(Primarily using blend files, aseprite files, and png images rn)

minecraft mod idea

monsters no longer spawn on the surface at night time - they only spawn inside caves.

This makes spelunking more unique, and makes night-time not a nuisance.

Doctor Who :: [ Season 3 (1965-1966) ]

oh, I thought so!

one of the actors in the first part came back a few years later to play Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, one of the most famous characters from the classic series

ah, we're up to the part where the author switched, because this story was so long they needed to get Dennis Spooner to write the second half

Doctor Who :: [ Season 3 (1965-1966) ]

The author of this story (Terry Nation) is one of the good authors.

But they also don't seem to know what the solar system is... they put a bunch of extra planets into it???

Goblin Fact

There is a Goblin of the Year Award and every goblin wins it every year

Still boggling at this wonderful 2009 paper about how either economics is true, or computer science, but not both.

arxiv.org/pdf/1002.2284.pdf

<< The majority of financial academics believe in weak form efficiency and the majority of computer scientists believe that P≠NP. The result of this paper is that they cannot both be right: either P=NP and the markets are weakly efficient, or P≠NP and the markets are not weakly efficient.>>

Another important take-away from my meetings already: calling MEPs is way more effective than e-mailing them.

E-mailing MEPs with a standard e-mail from a template can actually be counter-productive.

If you can, please *call* your MEPs. You can find your MEP here:
europarl.europa.eu/meps/en/map

If you'd rather e-mail, please write two-three paragraphs in your own words, from your e-mail address. Even if it's not as slick as the template, it will work way better!
