It's so bad when people at my job are always complimenting my stability, but then here I am taking a mental health day and trying to plan out how I can go two more days at work without talking to a single human being, because anxiety is literally gnawing up my brain.

There are few more jarring things in the world than having people compliment you for something that's just a carefully maintained mask.

@azushark I do, actually, though I'm not sure it counts since I moved before I even had a job lined up and then kept my fingers crossed until someone called me. Ummm, probably, you wouldn't want to do it like me. I convinced a few family members to make the move as well - over 2K miles from where we were before.

i used to go on twitter and basically shake with terror anytime i accidentally ended up in the crosshairs of someone with a ton of followers

i mean, i hardly said anything but then *BOOM* stuff would go sour - even though i was *agreeing* with them. i think they just did it to give their followers someone to beat up on. as a result, i think i'm sorta traumatized, hahaha.

@maple don't worry, they won't sue you - they'll be too busy trying to strongarm me into paying for "instant ink" - I'll just let the subscription lapse again and see how long it takes for the hp van to pull up and their hired goons to go tumbling out
