@mawr @troubleMoney oh yeah i bet if i forced myself to write things down more often itd help with my bad memory too

im just on computers 24/7 and end up only ever using them instead of paper

@troubleMoney @mawr i buy,,,,, whatever i find the cheapest at the stationery shops

like, ink pens just aren't for me. first of all i hardly ever write things down ever ever, second of all i do not have the patience to work my calligraphy up to justify buying a pen that costs more than a few cents

i love what y'all can do with them, but it's just not for me. at most i buy cutesy colored pens i lie to myself that ill draw with but they're just sitting there

@KitRedgrave@glitch.social if i take my time i can make it super pretty and even but usually it looks like that at regular speed yeah

@KitRedgrave@glitch.social i developed my handwriting (see here computerfairi.es/@squirrel/997) into something i can do pretty quickly and easily, if not even quicker than i could cursive

idk i totally get cursive but mine was ugly and unreadable and it just made me loathe writing down class notes all of the time

@mawr calligraphy is hecka beautiful and i lack all of the coordination to do any of it

and the expensive pens too

i source my pronouns locally instead of from big companies

@revenant yea i have a cool cursive-like scribble of a signature but that's about it

the moment i left elementary school and found out that no, we would not be forced to write cursive the rest of our lives, i dropped it from my life entirely

@InspectorCaracal @ratbaby yea tbh i followed you solely because you posted caracals

(nah jk you seem like a cool person)

regarding my know-me-first-before-following-me policy, you are free to follow me back if i follow you first

@chosafine@instance.business something something kiki's delivery service
