@MightyPork@dev.glitch.social i have 3 android phones, 1 android tablet, 2 ebook readers and 1 broken ipod touch 3 right next to me in my top drawer alone

@turbodragon oh i could go on about those too

2600, master system, genesis, super nintendo, ps1, dreamcast, wii, psp, 3ds

used to have a gbc but that's with my parents, and an old ds lite that's with my brother

the other desktop is my old pentim dual-core from 2006 or so, which i used to use as my local server

the currently nonfunctional laptop is the machine that replaced it, due to being quieter and being able to survive power failures, and another, newer laptop replaced /that/

the other two laptops are a 100mhz pentium toshiba for dos games, my main i5 i'm currently typing this on, and the thinkpad in my lap that i was just drawing on

it just occurred to me there are no less than 5 laptops in my room

along with 2 desktops, 1 portable linux sbc and 1 amiga

(counting things that aren't working, my main desktop and one hdd-less laptop)

@Nine nah, it was all programming!

"There were two common tricks for speeding up load times. One was using a data line that normally sat unused to transfer twice as much data as usual. Another was to do less error checking. There was some risk involved in doing less error checking but in practice it rarely caused problems."

assuming i can diagnose and ship the faulty parts back to be replaced all by monday, the replacement still won't be here by thursday, in which case i'll probably have to cancel this week's squirrel-chan's fuck-up hour as well, unless i figure out something to do as a replacement

@Vann@glitch.social *gives you the softest of pawpaps*

i will make it my mission to pawpap everyone who wants it

it makes me so so angry to watch a robot be gendered female while trans women have to hear "but BIOLOGY says..."

Heavy petting, innuendo

@Erin hi me too yes thank you
