@Jo I clicked on the messages thing because it said there was a new message and it came up in one of those pullout things in the bottom right that websites use for IMs

@Agiri@masto.ninja eh, it doesn't really add actual security though

All a terrible padlock is is a sign saying "pls no stealing"

LOCK TALK

If your padlock can be opened with a screwdriver, an angle grinder, a pair of bolt cutters, or any other widely available tool then you might as well just use a piece of string

From twitter.com/LockPickingLwyr/st:

"The company that sent me the pictured fingerprint lock has provided the security quote of the year: “...the lock is invincible to the people who do not have a screwdriver.”"

@InspectorCaracal but is it also invincible to bolt cutters, angle grinders, or bricks?

@noelle @mona@cybre.space @maloki you also can't throw erasers and/or chalk with pinpoint accuracy at the heads of misbehaving members of your class

Probably for the best on that part though

@squirrel while the energizer bunny can keep going and going and going! :blobgrin:

@Are0h @squirrel @noelle I have no problem with people walking away from arguments

I was just explaining to you clearly why you're being yelled at and the easy way for you to stop being yelled at so we can all go back to the regularly scheduled shitposting

@Are0h @squirrel @noelle No you didn't let it go, you continued it by subtooting the shit out of everyone involved

At the very least you owe @noelle an apology for how you acted towards her earlier when she was trying to calm things down

@Are0h

@squirrel is pissed at you because you went off at @noelle for something you either imagined she said and/or misrepresented while she was trying to calm things down earlier

The way you did it was pretty close to gaslighting and your tone was unnecessarily aggressive

You probably would have realised all of this had you been paying attention
