huh, this is a neat thing I just found out

turns out on the Casio W800 there's a countdown timer function that's disabled in hardware

and you can enable it by just removing some solder

might have to do that to one at some point

@maple kubrick might have been but he'd have done 150 takes per vine

@maple I'm not sure about them but I'm sure Fritz Lang would be an incorrigible shitposter

with all those tardigrades being spilled on the moon we know what we're getting in a couple million years

I'm still sour on Sony equipment since the rootkit debacle but I have to say well done them on the port selection on their new VAIO SX12

SD card, USB 3.1, USB-C, 2x USB 3.0, HDMI, RJ45, VGA, and a headphone jack

No serial port but still, nice load of ports

@maple I really hope other instances that don't support bbcode filtered out the tags otherwise that's going to look obnoxious as hell

@maple [hex=]o[/hex][hex=]r[/hex] [hex=]m[/hex][hex=]a[/hex][hex=]n[/hex][hex=]y[/hex] [hex=]o[/hex][hex=]t[/hex][hex=]h[/hex][hex=]e[/hex][hex=]r[/hex] [hex=]c[/hex][hex=]o[/hex][hex=]l[/hex][hex=]o[/hex][hex=]u[/hex][hex=]r[/hex][hex=]s[/hex][hex=]![/hex]

please populate maple's headpatting RX data line with appropriate signal

alcohol

@maple no, wait, something based on a gin fizz is totally more like it

switch the simple for maple syrup, add some midori, melon for garnish

something like that

alcohol

@maple the new screen name is making me think of a japanese-inspired maple cocktail

probably because I've just seen a video on midori

I'm thinking midori, maple syrup, some citrus juice of some kind, and... probably whisky

@evie if you want to really push the boat out I can see that looking very good on an oyster-style bracelet, something like this maybe strapcode.com/collections/meta

or for variety maybe get a load of G10's, all kinds of colours and patterns and they're cheap
