@Nine I remember something about prospective hydrogen fuel cell tech, they were imagining a suitcase-sized box that you'd use to power your car, or your tiny house, or whatever and you could carry it around, plug it into whatever you wanted to power, and refill it

you can even get some that are rechargeable over USB, they just have a little port on the side you plug a cable into
