@squirrel it's really interesting stuff, but I'm just quite happy to leave the experimenting with it to other people

Like any chemistry involving lots of nitrogens, fascinating, but I'll let somebody else muck around with that

bodymod

@squirrel Interesting, but I'm not sure I'm quite comfortable with wearing DIY contraptions that zap electricity through my brain

It's messed up enough as it is it doesn't need any extra help

bodymod

@squirrel they don't do LED matrices yet and it's not brain controlled but GrindhouseWetware was working on something called NorthStar which is a subdermal thing with LEDs on that you can switch on or off

@amphetamine @catoutofbed@octodon.social @noelle That was originally the bridge that was in London, UK though, so I'll give them that

We sold it in the 60's because London Bridge was... ahem... falling down and needed to be replaced

@squirrel Maple brains are obviously very good at audio processing

Controversial take

The Germans make better wristwatches than the Swiss

It's commonly stated that people only use 10% of their brains at any time

Some rare individuals occasionally use 100% of their brain at once

This is called a seizure, and is generally considered a bad thing

@squirrel mmmm that lovely fresh solder smell, not much better than that

weird brain stuff

@squirrel *watches your eyes display the defrag process as lots of little sectors of pixels moving around and changing colour*

ooh, I always loved watching defrags

ridiculous gun

@HTHR@cybre.space that was actually a thing some company was trying, they called it Metal Storm, it was basically a shit-tonne of barrels strapped together with multiple bullets in each barrel

@BatElite well, it was at a high of 14350 yesterday and it's had a low today of 10779

So hopefully!

Damnit bitcoin, keep dropping, I want to see you burn

@noelle Short answer no, long answer yes but it involves finding where pinterest's servers are and going there with large amounts of petrol and matches

@ruth If services were like that I might actually go to one from time to time

@noelle last I checked people die from exposure

None of that thanks
