Casio released a G-Shock watch with an octagonal case, the GA-2100, some people noticed that the case is vaguely similar in shape to the AP Royal Oak, a very expensive steel sports watch, which led to people calling the G-Shock the "casioak"
Now people have made steel cases for the casioak to go in (it's a very easy swap) and are calling the combination the "Royal Broke" as it really does resemble a Royal Oak from a distance but costs 2 magnitudes less
I love how much this dates all y'all that favourited this
I mean, it also dates me, but also all of you
well this is ridiculous
it's a little clasp that goes over the clasp on your watch bracelet that screws down and locks it to your wrist
in case of attempted mugging as far as I can tell
yes, this is indeed a bad idea for all the reasons you just thought of
also they're charging €120 for it
computer fairies is officially online and working! thank you to @noelle and @troubleMoney for their help in getting it all to work again in the new server
the entire underlying system is migrated, however old media prior to the migration will still be missing until it all gets migrated to our new s3 bucket, at which point we should be 100% back
