birdsite hack

yeah this may have been somewhat profitable but only using it for a bitcoin doubler scam shows a distinct lack of creativity

I mean, look at this bullshit, it's a lenovo thinkpad something something and they put a proprietary port on the side for connecting a special ethernet adapter

JUST MAKE IT A FEW MIL THICKER AND PUT A PROPER PORT ON THERE YOU BASTARDS

sod this really thin laptops trend, I want like, two ethernet interfaces, 6 USB ports, RS232, a headphone jack, expresscard, smartcard, maybe something to read vhs tapes

all this talking about flags and we haven't claimed a single landmass yet

what are we even doing?

Another Non-Binary Computer for Nonbinary Day: On my trip to England's National Museum of Computing I got to see (and operate!) the Harwell Dekatron computer (AKA the WITCH), which has as it's basic unit of memory a "Dekatron" vacuum tube with 10 different states. The computer "counts" by the dekatrons all spinning in unison in a fascinating display. 💻 :heart_nb:

This is the Setun computer

It was developed in 1958 at Moscow State University

It used ternary logic with a balanced ternary numeral system (which is to say, -1, 0, 1)

basically: NON BINARY COMPUTER FOR NONBINARY DAY! :flag_nonbinary:

we've finally reached the end of what would have been Cameron's 5 year term

remember when they said we'd have "chaos with Ed Milliband"?

The Beatles - I wanna hold your hand but instead it's about pawbs

re-release the sinclair c5 with modern brushless motors and batteries already!

I'd get on the socialist teeth bandwagon but I don't have a readily viewable mouth

@mavica waking up in the morning like *sounds like the sega mega drive boot sound* MA-VI

only useful to UK

aldi are selling little mesh ditty bags for 25p each

they're by the fruit and veg and are meant as "reusable fruit and veg bags" apparently but they're ditty bags in all but name, might be quite useful

Best way to deal with someone flashing a rolex about and trying to "flex" as I believe the kids say is to walk up to them and say "hey dude(it's always a dude), nice invicta"

drives them up the damn wall

wonder if I can take a bunch of measurements and someone could make me a facemask that adequately fits my massive schnozz
