Holy crap, Breitling have released a version of the Navitimer in an actually reasonable size! 41mm

Hell must have frozen over

Seems I can put "fixing electronic adjustable beds" on my list of skills

Charity shop my dad works for got a non-functional adjustable bed donated, asked me to take a look at it, turns out it needed some new relays

As a standard bed it would have gone for £20-30, just putting £4 of new relays in there means they can get £150

Not a bad 10 minutes work

Haven't used this emojo for a while: :hambaga:

It's a @squirrel eating a hamburger, it's a very good emojo

Me: "I can't figure out why this printer isn't showing up..."

Dave: "Oh yeah, I unplugged it"

Me: "Goddamnit Dave"

With all the deleteFacebook stuff happening at the moment, is there a decent facebook alternative I can point people to in the same way that masto is a good twitter alternative

New piece of ridiculousness from MB&F & L'epee 1839

The Fifth Element, it's a desktop weather station

MB&F stuff is always fun

Things that confuse me about the US medical system #32147:

Brand names for all medication

Especially when there are multiple brand names

Let's take a simple over the counter medication as an example: Addaprin, Advil, Bufen, Caldolor, Cap-Profen, EmuProfen, Genpril, Haltran, I-Prin, Ibuprohm, Ibu-Tab, Midol, Motrin, Nuprin, Proprinal, and Q-Profen

IT'S JUST IBUPROFEN DAMNIT, YOU DON'T NEED THAT MANY NAMES FOR IT

Every 5 years or so they start teasing these fabrics made with shape memory alloys

"Just put a hair dryer up to it and it'll get rid of all the creases and look nicely ironed with no effort" they say

Do these miraculous clothes ever make it to market? Like fuck do they

(just did the ironing, I hate ironing)

Thanks BBC, but I'm not sure "Putin wins Russian election" is breaking news

It's a bit like putting out push notifications that the sun rose in the sky this morning
