After about a day's worth of programming I've got a simple Dr. Mario clone written for NES that mostly just needs viruses and a versus mode. This is going to go into Nova the Squirrel as a minigame, I suppose.

Kee's been working on the commission I wanted and the WIP sketches I've been seeing are sooo cute. Though I'm sure a large part of that is the fact that it is, in fact, Isabelle.

re: weirdly horny

@mouseglitch honestly being in a position of royal authority is probably even more of a reason to sub since then you get a break from being in charge.

In my case I usually just dom and the theme of being the princess who takes care of her subjects and tries to make sure they're happy just continues, expressing itself in other ways.

@behold3r @XerTheSquirrel are you constructing some sort of squirrel mansion to house them all in?

soundcloud.com/novasquirrel/gr I composed this awhile ago as a test because I heard a piano sample I really liked, maybe I should try to extend it into more of a song or just try and compose more in general again.

I actually did eventually check to see what private messages I supposedly had that Kik was emailing me about (since it's still installed on my backup phone) and it was a message from one of their own bots. Uh huh.

@carbontwelve and update the license headers on all of your current open source projects' files

@softgoat I'm still waiting to be able to find a GameCube controller adapter in stock anywhere ever so I can use the controllers I already have.

In 2019 I want to practice pixel art a lot more and get confident with shading. I want to find a job I enjoy, and I want to finally get cartridges of Nova the Squirrel made.

Best part of having my game's level editor done will be that I won't have to touch menus for a good while. Menus are boring and repetitive to code, and a level editor is like 90% menu.

@wigglytuffitout I just grab boxes off the shelf that are empty and put my own groceries in there, and ignore bags altogether. I find it a lot easier on my hands too.

@Chel @maple when I was a teenager my Nintendo DS and flashcart were everything. I didn't get a phone until about a month before I turned 19.

Making lots of progress on the enemy placement editor in Nova the Squirrel's level editor.

@woob xkcd.com/1538/ I think that's a tons-of-people thing, and when I see lyrics posted online sometimes people disagree on what word is used somewhere
