I'm happy more fans are finding us and joining the voting, even if we're naming a crappy Pokémon "Fart". I think we'll make good progress through the game together, one input per hour. I believe the voting majority will usually want to make progress through the game... when we're not wasting a whole month backtracking because we forgot to talk to Professor Elm, anyway

I appreciate the teamwork, but you shouldn't take this game too seriously. We're basically playing Twitch Plays Pokémon in Democracy mode. The only rule is chaos. Nothing is sacred. If a group of jerks ever brigade us, release all of our battle ready party members, save, and make the game unwinnable, and so be it. If you want a perfect battle team, go play Pokémon Showdown instead.

Maybe we're being a little mean to this L2 Sentret, but it's useless to us. If it was smart, it would have run away from the battle. Catching this was a waste of a Poké Ball.

I'd name this Sentret "NEIN". It's a reminder not to use him. At best, he can be our Cut/Surf user until we catch a Krabby.

Ah, you're right. New Bark Town's map has water on its eastern border, so you can't even get into any encounters without the Surf HM. I forget if Gold and Silver have any encounter table shenanigans that let us get into a wild Pokémon encounter here.

Today separates the noobs from the pros. I saw the trap coming after three turns and I was powerless to avoid it. Even abusing my research and my tier list to the max the whole time, it still came down to a 50/50 crapshoot to keep my streak alive.

I could say we already went to the house up here a month ago, but most people wouldn't see that. At this point, it's faster to go there again and show that there's nothing to do there. Maybe they'll let us go back and talk to Professor Elm so we can advance the plot and get Poke Balls.

Oh no, you're right! We've already been to Mr. Pokemon and we already got the Mystery Egg last month! We fought our rival and then named him Butt. We backtracked all the way back to the lab but we forgot to actually talk to Professor Elm! We're stuck until we backtrack and talk to Professor Elm! Oh man, we've got to get a better way to talk strategy among ourselves.
