DragonBlast is a pretty solid 2D indie fighting game with 3D models. Usually, the characters are muscular furries. But in this joke version called Nico Nico Fighters (ニコニコファイターズ), all the characters are 2000s-era Japanese internet memes. I'd kill for someone to leak that build to the Internet so I can play it.

What the heck, Wordle? That's evil! This took me to 6/6 for the first time since puzzle #1140. I checked, and this solution was destined to appear someday since the pre-NYT days, but seriously, non-native English speakers have no chance against the grammatical acrobatics this word requires.

More concerning, though, is that we cannot load our save game, ever. We can't soft reset or hard reset. So, don't KO the Snorlax.
@rym I'm pretty certain this is audio watermarking. Five years ago, the Spanish soccer league La Liga's official app got busted for this. If the app detected the user was in a public place that didn't pay for a license to show the game, the app would turn the user's microphone on to listen for the game's broadcast audio. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2019/06/spanish-soccer-leagues-app-caught-eavesdropping-on-users-in-anti-piracy-push/
These leagues probably send a different watermark to each broadcaster. The watermarks have to be loud enough to survive re-encoding, so it's noticeable.

@tom @pokemon Really? Over here on Mbin, I throw around 5.7MB GIFs. I wonder if my Mastodon just can't handle attachments this size.
@tom @benlk @pokemon @fediplayspokemon Oh, I think you're right. The last non-Atomic Purple post contains this MP4 file which works fine. That MP4 was probably a GIF when you uploaded it. MP4 doesn't support transparency at all, so other parts of Mastodon fail when they try to convert it.
@tom @pokemon Oh yeah, that makes sense. The image on the right is a 32x32 HTML5 canvas. When I click on the left image to zoom in, it actually tries to load the right image as https://computerfairi.es/media_proxy/112407118008012955/original , but for me, that returns an error "The page you are looking for isn't here."
