I just remembered the time I went to get some academic advice at the beginning of the year

me: it's annoying how the computer science systems only use people's legal names, despite the fact that the uni has a preffered name system
adviser: I had to give advice to someone else who complained about that - they didn't like their birth name and didn't want to be referred to as a man or a woman, how crazy is that? hahahaha..
