wiring could've gone better, using stiff wires was an absolute mistake (i had a huge surplus i figured wouldn't have been a problem for this) but now hopefully everything is wired as i want it, just need a hole for the cable and i should be able to start writing code if everything works hopefully
@lion batteries with built in protection or BMS will have a larger parasitical self-discharge
@lion li-ion batteries are full at about 4.2v, the closest you can store them at nominal 3.7v the better
@lion the only guideline i would add is that 50-70% charge is best shelf storage rather than full or empty, and that self-discharge is still a thing to watch out for
