like idk abt u, i've had enough tragedy in my actual real life that i don't Always want the media i consume to be sad and tragic??? wild concept, i know

@pawnshopheart man i feel u on this, i really like tragedy but it has a time & place and stories dont have to be horrible to be meaningful!

its particularly annoying when like... ur following a piece of media and finding it profound, enjoyable, relatable, then the ending is unexpectly tragic in a way that doesnt rly add that much to the story

@pawnshopheart yeah!!! i rly resent the idea that bad endings r somehow more mature or whatever, paints a bleak worldview

Hello!

I might be looking for getting a personal domain/site/hosting thing up for keeping my own work on (images, some audio and who knows what really) for referencing elsewhere. Maybe site stuff later.

First problem is that I don't know how to do this stuff or what to look out for. I've barely touched HTML & CSS.

Second problem is that the internet is rife with middlemen leeching money off stuff by doing nothing and I'd like to avoid those. Anyone have good resources/enough patience to help?
