shitpost, cartoonish violence

@Vann@glitch.social :thaenkin: it already has batteries on board... TASER ROOMBA!

@minego octopuses have the better form-factor for using tools

cuttlefish can only use stuff right in front of them and squid are just a bit too long to squish into small spaces effectively

Vikings never wore helmets with horns on

But if they'd thought of the idea they totally would have when they were on the lash

@softgoat damn things are like socks, always finding ways to escape to some other dimension

@squirrel from looking around it looks like strcpy doesn't check the length of the destination buffer and so could lead to overflows?

I've heard strlcpy advised but I don't know C so I have no idea if that's a good idea or not

@alice@elekk.xyz @squirrel precisely zero

how many people will buy it due to their mall ninja fantasies is, however, a surprisingly large number

@squirrel oh yeah, gotta have skulls on everything

they add like, 20 damage

One day a self-defence expert was asked "what should I do if I don't have any weapons and someone attacks me?"

He answered "I dunno, hit 'em with a pen or something"

And thus ridiculous bullshit like this was brought into the world: mecarmy.com/product/details/80

unicode petition ZWJ sequences with 🎀 so you can stick a cute bow on any smiley or animal

@softgoat although now I've said that the x240 is getting more affordable

basically with thinkpads unless you're buying new then find the model that's 4-6 years old, all the companies that use them tend to be replacing them for new stuff and you can find really good deals on second hand ones

@softgoat if you don't mind second hand I can wholeheartedly recommend the thinkpad x230

You may not be able to nail jelly to a wall, but it seems you can make a kitchen knife out of it
