I'm kind of in awe at your putting together this site with its theme & favicon in a beautiful & usable way. This beauty is beyond my abilities today.

@squirrel You can. You just need motivation, patience, & that most precious of resources, time.

More encouragingly, when I'm done, I'm going to write up & show what I was thinking along the way. All of these are small & haphazard pieces, & it's almost accidental how I decided on this style.

More progress with my desktop theme. There's still some work left, but it's mostly usable & somewhat presentable.

My minimalist work desktop so far. wmx as my window manager, idesk for all the decorations & static icons, & xcal, xload, xclock, & xbiff as undecorated windows. My load avg peaked above 1.0, & I got new mail while taking screenshots (using xbiff icons I drew today).

@squirrel I've never heard it pronounced any way bot the second.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's because Roto Rooter made the first form synonymous with non-Internet plumbing.

Neat accessibility feature (for a11y allies): When attaching things, there's a text box at the bottom where you can describe it for folks with screen readers & anyone who just wants a tooltip before clicking on it.
